Chocolate Yummy-Delicious Soap Porn

I love chocolate and I love soap. Today I was working with chocolate so it was on my brain aaaaaallllllll day. So of course chocolate soap porn was the topic for the evening :D

Enjoy it as much as I did!

1984 Clove, Chocolate Coffee and Leather by Love and Lyes Soap Co.
"Spicy hints of clove in real black coffee, spilled on a background of rustic leather, topped with a layer of rich, decadent chocolate- just what your fascist government ordered!"
I absolutely LOVE the darkness and density of this fudge-like slab of this soap!

Box of Chocolate Bon Bons by Feto Soap
Six bon bon soaps per box.

Cocoa Buzz by Relic Soap Company
"We cook with a lot of garlic at our house. We love the taste but not necessarily the smell it leaves on our hands. As you may already know, coffee is terrific at neutralizing bad odors. We triple brew espresso (the spoon can nearly stand up!) and toss in a handful or two of the grounds for a deodorizing and scrubby kitchen bar. All good cooks enjoy a garnish.
We were compelled to tops things off with a cocoa absolute drizzle.
"

Peanut Butter Cup & Organic Chocolate Soap by Little Batch
"There is no added fragrance in this soap... just the mild natural scent of the peanut butter and cocoa."

"Chocolate Orange Cocoa Soap: Sweet, ripe orange marbled with creamy vanilla and a hint of sandalwood,
cloaked in rich black chocolate."

The Morbid The Merrier products will be next up for soap and other sundries being reviewed by me. It may take me a week to get the full review up, but I have quite a few items to finish testing. I will try to fill your days with bubbly porn to keep your eyes filled with joy, love and art in the meantime.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend!!

Dr. Perricone Advanced Face Firming Activator GIVE AWAY

I have a treat for you.

Out of the blue, an offer was presented to me to give my lovely, beautiful and heaven's forbid, possibly aging soap makers something for free. So, I figured, WHY NOT!? I will tell you about a product and you can try for the Advanced Face Firming Activator. You know how much this 2 ounce bottle is? $120.00.

Dr. Nicholas Perricone's line of products are pricey but his products have clout. He has quite a following, a medical background and extensive research to back up the cosmetic claims of his products and the anti-aging theories he speaks of.

I think the newest product that has been getting a lot of attention has been the Cold Plasma, which just sounds like I'd like to just dive into it. It sounds coooooool. To see Cold Plasma Reviews and reports on what results have been, you can check it out. Click the link.

To enter to win one bottle of Advanced Face Firming Activator (2 oz), leave a comment sharing why you want or need it.

Give away ends at 11:59 pm on June 1st. Winner will be announced on June 2nd.

One comment about why you want or need the Activator = one entry. If you twitter this blog post, leave a comment here again with your full twitter post. That will earn you an extra entry.

Open to people currently residing in the U.S. or Canada only. :(

Good luck! Look younger....

My Dog!

I don't know why I've been keeping this from you. It certainly wasn't intentional, but I fell in love with a scent that I can't get enough of and now I need you to try it and love it and buy it so it never is discontinued. K?

That's my intro. I needed to get that out of the way just in case you weren't understanding how serious I am about this scent. Now, I don't know if YOU will like this scent, but it MOVES me.

Let us start with what and who it is: Moon Dog by Haus of Gloi

I first purchased Britton's Satyr soap, which I loved loved and bought a second one. I then bought a few sugar scrub samples. One in Picaroon, Satyr and Moon Dog. Picaroon was delish, Satyr smelled a bit like an orange creamsicle and was sweet for my taste (different smell in the soap) and Moon Dog which was dreamy.

I then immediately bought Moon Dog soap, used it up, went back to her Etsy shop and bought two more since then and a Moon Dog perfume oil. I have to tell you that I am so over the moon about this scent that I am grateful Britton created perfume oils because I can dab a little oil on my wrist and smell it all day instead of just experiencing it in the shower.

This is how Moon Dog is described:

Solar storms erupt: pure cracked coconut, dry sandalwood heated
with Indonesian nutmeg and a Singapore clove.

I think I smell all of those things... but of course, it's a bit hard to separate those bits when you are floating above the floor. I know I smell the coconut and it's not sticky sweet - it's anchored with spice and there is something in there that I can't quite get that isn't listed and I keep smelling my wrists. This is why my review took so long. Because I was hopeful I could be more descriptive and eloquent in my review.... but not so much.

I'm basically telling you that I love the products I've tried and Moon Dog is loyal and oh so good. Please Britton, keep this one around. For me!

* Yeah, I went ga ga.

Sandalwood?

sandalwood

What's your favorite sandalwood oil?

As you know, I am making perfume oils, but I am ALWAYS blending and experimenting with new scents. I've never worked with sandalwood and I'd like to try. I don't want to use just any, either. I want to use a really good one.

Don't tell us which one you use if you just, eh, use one that just does the trick.
If you LOVE one, tell us.

It can be a fragrance oil or an essential oil. I'm just tired of purchasing samples all over the place and being disappointed. Let's put our resources together, for goodness sakes!

A Quick Pimp

I have started selling perfume oils on my Etsy shop.... so you can read about it on my Product Body blog or go straight to my Etsy shop to see.

Pimping my products...? Yeah.

Sharing in my excitment? Absolutely. I've been eeking to do this for a year.

Needing to offer more soap stuff? Yes, but it's Mother's Day so... I have to run out to my family's for a brunch. This is what I offer for today.

Here's a teaser:

Little Soap Soldiers Ready For A Swap

No laughing!

They HAD to be small (2-3 oz). I have a feeling the soaps that come to me might be nicer.

Buttermilk Porn - Hey... It's Sunday

What is better on a Sunday than buttermilk pancakes? Well, nobody got up and made me any, so I had to hit the road and go looking for some myself! You'd be surprised what I found. They weren't pancakes, sadly, but if they were, I think I'd feel worse because I don't have any in my BELLY.

beeswax and buttermilk soap by Haunt
"sticky, raw beeswax and honey creamed together with rich buttermilk (unscented)"
All of Erin's soaps are absolutely stunning looking!!
Unfortunately, it isn't available on her website right now..

waxworks by Alchemic Muse
"Raw orange blossom & honey and beeswax whipped with creamy buttermilk (unscented)"
I have tried a number of her soaps and they are amazing!

"We use only Extra Virgin Olive Oil blended with sweet churned buttermilk to gently clean and moisturize your skin."
This company is very new to Etsy but their products look pure, simple and lovely. :)

dairy bar goat's milk and buttermilk soap by Castle Company Soaps
"Indulge yourself to a luxurious treat. Gentle, creamy, soft, delightful! Your skin will thank you."
This shop sells only soaps. Most shops sell such a variety these days, but I like to see shops that know what they do well and do that ONLY. It shows dedication and focus. :)

Happy Sunday. Hope you had pancakes. My stomach is rumbling and it's 2:30 and I STILL haven't eaten. Second cup of coffee, water and a bottle of Ensure. Yeah, that's what dumb headaches do to me. Makes me want to hide in my bed and not eat, unless fat fairies brought me buttermilk pancakes with REAL maple syrup...yum yum yum.... :P
